| Demon gone from Dodge City High School ? Why ? Who ? I just became aware that the only Demon logo at the Dodge City high school -- in the gym floor -- was replaced by a boring "DC". Understand that there are no longer any Demons in the high school, after 70 years or so, at all. Why have ignorant fundamentalist taken over the high school ? The christian taliban must be stopped here, now. Let the U$D 443 know that this BS control by the Abundant (god loves us -- we have money) Life crew has gone far enough.      |

| I thought there was a big bruhaha in the past regarding the Demon mascot for DCHS. I wonder if this was approved through the school board, or did someone go out on their own to make the change. Someone should be ticked off!

| Nothing that dramatic I understand that it was to be consistant with the football field and that the demon logo was too complicated and too costly to put in. Have you seen the field house floor? It's pretty tight. |

| Oh yeah, that complicated and highly detailed work of Van Gogh we call our logo...............definately would have been a costly pain in the ass to paint that instead of a couple of big letters............

| I think the field looks pretty good... And there are plenty of Demons running around the high school on shirts and the fieldhouse....

| I had also heard that the sound dampening things on the walls at the fieldhouse will be covered in specially made and fitted wrappings with the Demon logo on it. |

| Saw the water tower just recently got a facelift...sure would look a lot better with a demon on it like other area towns have their respected mascots on theirs.

| Looks like our mascot should be a "Turkey Vulture"!  I thought the Demon on the water tower was great during football games. However, due to our modern day "political correctness", I guess those days are over. Come on people, it is just a MASCOT!!! Of course, if you give them time, they will want to change our mascot to something else. Probably a "cow"!! Yessirreee, we are the fearsome Dodge City Cows!!!   |
