Anyway I don't disagree with most of your statements. Just that the sky isn't always falling relative to every post involving our community.

And that comment from the GCPD sounds more like a puffed out chest-comment more than a factual based statement. I doubt that the GCPD strikes anymore fear in the hearts of gang members than does any other Police Department.

I will, again, see red when I find out they spend my tax money to install more underground sprinkler systems in the medians to water the pavement on Wyatt Earp.

You can't be serious....underground sprinklers in the street? How stupid is that? We don' even do that - we still have city water trucks that put water on all the median plants in Overland Park and Olathe (and probably other burghs up here - I just don't see it).

I just had the opportunity to drive both the new area of cement pavement on 14th Avenue north of the By-Pass and the new pavement on Wyatt Earp. The ride was fairly smooth on North 14th.

The ride was not so smooth on the new section of Wyatt Earp. Anyone know why the most traveled road is not as good a ride?
