Another way to both give a link and not help it is to put rel="nofollow" in the <a link

Example: <a href="http://www.anylinkyouadd.whatever" rel="nofollow">Bad link</a>

This tells google not to rank the link, etc. Works.

Yes, you should register. What the poster states is correct. I would have mentioned this but thought it might be difficult to understand for the average poster. Most of the posters just type the link and let the board auto-add the URL BB Code tags.
