The MiTT mission ended for me on 28 December, and so I was transfered back to my "Parent Unit" here on Rustamiyah. On the up side, I get hot showers, MUCH better food, and laundry service. Not to mention my scope of responsibility is going to be MUCH smaller, and I could use the break. On the down side, I am now with a big army unit, and big army does big stupid things. I won't get down into it, but there are some strange rules here that no one can seem to explain to me. Another down...

Wow, I'm big. No man will understand how hard it is to sleep with a watermelon attached to your belly! Then when you finally get comfortable, you have to piss! I'm just so glad it's almost over. I've been shocked this time around at how much my family is uninvolved. I guess when you move an hour and a half away, you disappear. Oh well....at least we made enough money to get almost everything we needed before the hours got cut at National. That really SUCKS! We were hoping on getting outta...

It has been a tough couple of days. Trying to keep my emotions in check over my best friend Steve, but it is hard.
I have been thinking very hard on the upcoming city race. My close friends want me to run, some of my family are less enthusiastic. Do I want to put myself in the spotlight? Am I willing to take some heat? I have nothing to hide and will answer any question, as long as it is relevant, honestly and to the point. It will financially be tough since I will be spending my own money...

Couldn't sleep so whats better than coming to DB.

Its 0400 central time and I have been up for an hour kinda worrying about the eye...took me an hour to find where the blog page is.....ha

I looked up detached retina last night. Well it looks like that is what it is.

Says get to the Dr. ASAP. I sure do hope Monday is ASAP enough....lol

Ok, first blog entry------

Son, 17, moved back home with me this weekend. I am very happy to have him living here again and look forward to our time together. I start rehearsals for the new Dodge Theater show in Feb called "The Corpse". This will be my first play and I am looking forward to it, but not to the long hours.
