Site went down
We had our first ever major crash with our new host today, sometime between 6:30-8:20. I was not aware of it until around 9:10. This crash resulted in some corruption to our SQL database. Fortunately, we have a redundant system and we are back up and running without any data loss that I am aware of.

Since I was out, I would like to get an accurate accounting when exactly, it went down. So please let me know if you experienced issues tonight, but only if you have an accurate time to report.

Also, please report any missing posts or data-loss. Please report via this thread.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Hostgator Hosting services for getting us back up and going with very little down time/data loss. This was a great achievement due to the severity of the issue.

I was having trouble around 9:00 to 9:10. All I was getting was a blank screen. It only lasted a few minutes.

Our host has apologized to us and wanted me to pass it along to all the members of DodgeBoard.com.

There are some updates being applied to the servers for Apache and the OS of their servers. They tell me there could possibly be further sporadic outages/issues through the night. They have a complete backup of our data and are prepared to restore it if it crashes again.

Please bear with us as we bear with them. We have no choice but to ride along as they journey to update the servers.

I first noticed it between 7:45 and 8:00 the front page of the forum loaded but when I trided to login or click any link to go to a particular thread it went to a page with what appeared to me to be html code or some other kind of gibberish.

Something weird happened to the site today, I got onto the main forum page fine around 6:35pm, but when I clicked on "New Posts" or anything else, this is what I got... It then seemed to clear up by 6:45??

Something weird happened to the site today, I got onto the main forum page fine around 6:35pm, but when I clicked on "New Posts" or anything else, this is what I got... It then seemed to clear up by 6:45??
