Competetions Suspended

For the time being, the competitions (contest) have been suspended.

This decision was made due to the low entry rate, which only accounted of about 3-10 people a day on average. It was tedious to keep finding unique questions that pertained to our heritage/region/city for every day, to keep the contest going.

Two other reasons are that the USPS postal rates for delivering a shirt went from $2.10 to $4.15 on May 14th, and our supplies of shirts have dwindled. To date, we have given away approximately 60 shirts through the competitions and the fundraisers.

Since most all of the recent interested members had previously won (and some of those, several times) we concluded that it had served it's purpose, which was to get a piece of Dodgeboard memorabilia to each one of our members that wanted one. We feel that was accomplished for the most part- for those that were missed, my apologies. You can still order one if you wish.

While we may reactivate it at a later time, for a special contest, as of now it is closed. Maybe later, if we get some DodgeBoard coffee mugs ...well who knows??

We would like to extend our thanks to all that participated in the contests.

We hope you had as much fun as we did!

Thanks, Admin! I enjoyed the questions, and actually learned a few things that I didn't know.
