I really don't appreciate your tone.

Don't you think if the admin was like that, he/she would just implement the changes desired and scrap the whole poll process altogether? That would be easier and I wouldn't have to endure the bickering and whining about how unfair the poll is even before its completed.

Most other admins run forums without any input from it's members, and I am beginning to understand why. I do however, feel it is important but thankless, to include the members in the boards' policy decisions, especially on a local community run board.

It's been 4 1/2 days since the poll was posted (not a week), and it's a holiday weekend. Many of our members only check the board once a week. I don't understand the hurry unless it's because you fear that you wont get your way. People are still voting. Personally, I will be fine if the poll goes against my personal desires- Will you?

I made the poll a public poll so that you Army, could monitor who had voted and see that it was fair and valid. I'm sorry that I did not achieve my intended result.

Let's let the poll go for a week. Then I will decide where we go from here, and implement any changes in the board as my schedule permits. As the administrator, I believe I should be afforded that luxury. Don't you?

Yikes....sorry if I struck a nerve. I just didn't know if it was a two day poll or two week poll. It's fair to ask that question. Personally I don't care what the outcome is because I'll be here regardless because it's a great place to play. I have my preferences and I have made that obvious but I can live with whatever the masses decide. I just didn't know if it was an open ended poll or what. If I alluded to some misdoings on your behalf Admin I apologize. I was just giving a hypothetical situation....

What would be the point to banning his ass? I think he brought forth a valid point with the time deadline. I don't think he was accusing admin of anything, just stating a hypothetical situation as he explained. I personally am not gonna let this vote bother me in any way. If we get the old rep system then great, if not oh well. The rep/thank-spank system isn't what brings me to this site.

I find myself struggling to please everyone in a group of vastly opposing ideas. At this point, I'd settle for a majority, but even that doesn't look possible. The board is very split on this subject, which means it is likely that I will take a lot of flack, whatever the outcome of the poll.

Considering the closeness of the poll, maybe we could keep both. And if you don't like the Rep system, don't go to your UserCP to look at it, just ignore it.
