New Feature - DC Scanner

The DC po-po must be in mugging the doughnuts this morning because all is quiet. Then again, when it comes to trying to play any kind of net radio with POS dialup connection it aint happening anyway....at least im on the net but damn sure no room for bragging beyond that!

I had it turned on for a long time last night but I heard nothing.

I'm not saying it was a bad thing. Since I heard nothing I assumed no crimes were being commited and I went to bed and slept like a baby knowing all was well in Dodge City.

I'm gonna have to call my sis - she's a scanner buff and see if I'm gettin same channel as her..........I haven't heard anything on mine yet........ been tryin for 2 days.........

We just realized that it was out of tune and we have just made some adjustments. We have added a second scanner, so now you will hear DC Police on the left channel and Sheriff/EMS on the right.
So as of 3:36pm, it is working much better.

We have ordered a gigantic antenna station, some stationary high power scanners, which should be here later next week. It will be very good at that time. Right now, we are using a very basic setup.

Try it again, and be patient, there is not always going to be traffic.

Woooo Weeee I hear traffic!!........

I need some help and or advice....I have the latest version of Window's Media Player, I downloaded it today....I can open vBRadio and play American Radio Network, it loads and plays fine. I go to the scanner and after clicking play this station, it says connecting to media, and goes no farther. I try to close the vBRadio window then I get the windows explorer not responding and then it shuts down my internet explorer.

Any ideas from anyone? Help would be appreciated.

We had some more problems with it today, but we are working them out. For those of you that heard static most of the day, that has been cured.

It should be working now. I'll be glad when the new scanners and the antenna arrives, as this will make a huge improvement.
