Besides, don't most (or all) your commissioners have other full-time jobs? I'd be willing to bet they don't want calls at work. So when can you talk to them?

How about all of us that are concerned about our Mayor and Commissioners, after hours phone calls , now here is this thought We all call EVERY COMMISSIONER, AND THE MAYOR at all hours of the night and day. any body game for that.Hmm I have to proof better LOL

the Mayor's cell phone number is there. Please read, also if you have any idea how the school district works No they will not Call Mr Lee or any other teacher out for such kind of calls but they will give him a message and/or a contact number to reach you. I see this is going to be another fun day

I'll have to follow Gunnie's lead. The name is KC Muffin, or Muffy or Muffin or even just KC. Muffin in KC is not correct. But I'm straying off the topic. Even if the names/phone numbers of all the council members were published in a central location, like a booklet that the city might put out about their services (if they do, we do that here), not a lot of people would be using them. But if the need arose, they would. The City of Overland Park (where there's probably a little higher number of prank phone calls the city commissioners might get) has it on their letterhead and web site. It's taking it a little too far to suggest that we might all call in the middle of the night. That's not it at all. Citizens just want to know that the city government is available to them. So if your job is such that you can't take calls there (as in the teacher's situation), you have to be willing to take calls at home. Or at least publish their Email addresses. I know you put it on this board and I applaud that. But citizens shouldn't be expected to page through a board's topics to find it when they need it. imho

Ok Ok KC Muffin: LOL, I really am getting bored now. all of this must be going over most of your heads. First we are not talking KC or Overland Park here, remember Dodge City Ks, back to the first two post, why wasn't Mr Lee's number in the paper. Not one of the two posters said anything about it might have been a error on the Globe part. Those two jumped on that and then it started snowballing. Note this is my thought, mine only ok, to some people don't like the Mayor, for what ever reason they choose, and that is great, free country and all. I do believe that I have posted in the past somewheres in a post on one of this sites, my willingness to meet with some of the "unknown faces" the have a nice lunch and have a talk about our different views. Now Folks there is/was a message here on the posts in the days lately that I guess didn't get thru to some, or if it did they chose to ignore it. Nobody really cared about knowing Mr Lee's phone number because I believe they know it already or don't care to know it just something to keep picking and picking. I gave Mr Lee's phone number and that still wasn't enough. Topic kept on going more and more about Mr Lee's Life style or about Mr Lee period. I tried to respond as others did also in a positive way,Texkan for one. My intentions KS Muffin wasn't to really get everybody to call the Mayor/Commissioners I was making a point. I believe most people missed that point.LOL..People got caught up in things like "you don't have the right to tell me what to do, or what to say, or what to think, etc" LoL. This is getting to long. and dinner is ready. Love ya all Have a Happy one.
PS: Really I don't get p----d off or angry anymore, since about say 2002. I just have fun now, and laugh alot..Man I am leaving myself open here..LOL
