Mayor's Unlisted Phone Number...

Saw on the Glob's Editorial (cough-cough) page where they had a list of our elected spenders... er officials with contact information. One has an unlisted phone number; and I can't say that I blame him.

Yeah he's a man of the people and for the people. He just doesn't want to be one of the people. I mean how could he possibly lower himself to talk to one of us.

Most public officials don't want folks callin them off hours..... hell everyone in DC knows where he lives......... what's the big deal bout his phone #? Call his CPA - they for sure have his #.............. otherwise ya can probably find him in 20 min if ya work at it.................

My My, You guys are something else, His Number if you really want to talk to Him, is 620-430-1112, or you can call the Radio shack on 14th st they had it on their bill board for about a month or two. I will be making a phone call to the globe tomorrow. As I see it just another ploy by the money men to try and discredit a good man, just before Election. Oops someone must have forgot He don't need to run, he has 2 more years to still try and help the tax payers of Dodge City, you know the ones don't you, the working class people. Folks you need to really take a look and think about who really has you best interest in mind. and who is not in some one's pocket.We need to vote in people that can help Mr Lee go forward with tax relief and get the ones out that has been fighting Him. Mayor Lee and I talk once or twice a week on his cell phone. My Daddy always told me don't believe every thing you hear on radio or read in the newspaper, find out the true facts for yourself. if in doubt ask question from a reliable source, someone you can trust. I think folks are just speakin their mind........ that's why they post......... can't take it toooooo personal.......... I think if you have his cell # that's great. That tells me he's a personal friend. It appears folks feel he's not real connected to everyone...............but it's admirable that you would defend your friend. I don't think it matters much to voters that probably didn't vote for him anyway........ it's just opinions....... I don't vote but knowin that some select few can contact him and I have to try to get thru city hall would not make me real happy. Course I personally don't believe public servants need to publish thier phone #'s at home........ that' what 8 - 5 is all about.

Yes folks he is a friend of mine, that is not what this is all about. I was just replying to the post of two posters that should by now know Mr Lee's Cell phone number, for that matter so should the Globe folks. They have been dealing with him for two years now. Here's a thought now that Lurker and the rest of the posters know his number why not give him a call. Now if you can't get ahold of him, leave a name number and short message, if he don't get back with you try again.

TexKan Not taking it toooooo personal, but when people post or say things that I feel is not true or half truths about a friend or any one, I feel the need in trying to enlighten them the facts. Here is a fact Mr Lee and I have our disagreements and still can be friends. This thing about "how could he possibly lower himself to talk to one of us". sounds like someone has a self-esteem problem. Yes Texkan you are so right I am sure city hall has his contact number. It's been my experience that if you don't agree with him he just doesn't want to listen. He has let the fact that he is a commissoner and the mayor go to his head he thinks he is special and entitled to things the rest of us are not. As far as taking care of the working man's money I hope he can take care of it better then he has taken care of his own. Just posting my opinion.

You know what they say about opinions, everybody has one.. and I will leave it at that. Sorry you feel the way you feel about Mr Lee not wanting to listen to you if you don't agree with him, as I stated in a previous post, Mr Lee and myself have had lots of disagreements concerning some of his views as Mayor/Commissioner but he still listens. Now I have talked with other Commissioners and find that Mr Lee shows more of an open mindness to my concerns. Just posting my thoughts. Wishing all a very Happy Day.

Hey bf I can see why you two get along so well. You don't care to hear other peoples opinions either. If opinions bother you then maybe you are in the wrong place.
