| I'm with ya on the SEC, because it was voted in, but another school could be bad news. What if the new bill sends all these immigrants back to Mexico? We could be going to be back to a city full of empty buildings.

| Dousche Bags I agree the election was very interesting, BUT when you talk about a DOUSCHE BAG folks, Mr. Nelson really showed his true colers!! after the primary he just flat walked out on the job He was elected to do a job and he chose to run out on his responsibilites. Granted he was a lame duck but he could at least have had the respect for the citizens and showed up at the meetings and sat in the chair!! It would have been nice to at least sit there with his mouth shut if he didn't think we wanted his opinions. That would have been better than starting another argument. There I finally shared my thoughts ![]() |

Commissioner Mike Nelson said instead of issuing general obligation bonds, the city could finance the reconstruction project with some of the proceeds from the city’s and county’s sales tax. Voters approved the tax in 1997 to finance a series of entertainment-related projects, including improvements to the Civic Center. Well Sky Pilot, I guess you don't know what you're talking about. |

| Yeah in the previous meeting he stated he would be gone for the next meeting. He just might have had something else to do. He ran out on nothing.
