Protesting today

I just saw Tuesday's Glob and I have to say, I saw more red white and blue than I expected. Did anyone see the demonstration first hand? Was the photo on the front page of the Globe accurate?

Perhaps there were a few good citizens in the crowd.

I was there and yes there was a fair amount of American flags. I understand it was decided by organizers that Americans wouldn't take to them flying the Mexican flag without a few of the red white and blues. If you look at interviews with protesters a week ahead of the scheduled protest they had plans of flying ONLY the Mexican flag. Once they were told that was a bad idea they were going to fly the white flag but found it can represent surrender or a want to negotiate.
