He is the son of Loren Doll of the Irsik & Doll Feed Yard and Irsik & Doll Grain elevator empire. I think the statement of wealthy family is an understatement.

Come on guys, give him a chance. I know John fairly well, and I think he would not be afraid to tackle some of the issues. After all, don't you have to be "wealthy" to be a politician??

He's not spending millions of his OWN money. He's spending millions of special interest money in order to get put in that position. It's not like it's draining his families bank account.

The whole Poliical deal with the Executive and Legislative branches relates to "connection" to the processes. Intelligence isn't necessary; until the need to hide something comes to play.

From living in Cimarron and going to church in Ingalls, I knew John by sight, but not to actually talk to him. Yes, the family's wealthy - but I can't imagine they aren't having the same trials & tribulations all farming families are having. Even Sid Warner filed bankruptcy! The Dolls have always been politically active, too, so this doesn't really surprise me. If he mows lawns for a living, that just tells me he's not afraid to get his hands dirty and work hard. I wish him well.
