Nobody has heard from Terry for a week. Maybe they kidnapped him, and are holding him for ransom?? Or maybe they are trying to buy him off too?? Or maybe they gave him "concrete" shoes and took him for a walk on the "river"?? Or maybe he just went "over the river and thru the woods to Grandma's house"?? Or maybe, just maybe Lurker, it will be in tomorrow (WEDNESDAY'S) paper like they said!!

Or maybe it's being made into a much bigger deal than it actually is....

It's a White Elephant bought without any public input and without comment....

Nobody's concerned about the costs? Well, maybe not here....

I've heard many people in public and on the message boards, both this one and the now defunct other board, say that they wished that All-4-Fun was still open. The only way that it has a chance in hell of succeeding is for it to be owned by the city and a tax-exempt entity. If a private corp. or person owns it the taxes will be the death of the business. That's why it closed the first time.

That's the blame game.

It, and Garden City's, closed from lack of sufficient demand for such 'fun'. The five clowns in city hall don't have anything but our money to throw at it AND that won't fix it either.

IMO, one of the reasons it failed was because the prices were too high for the average person to afford. Of course, the owner had to make a profit to stay in business, and taxes would be a major cost. More power to the City if they can get it going and give the youth something to do in DC. As long as it doesn't cost us taxpayers more money. That's the problem, we are taxed to death now.

And Lurker, I agree with you that the public didn't know anything about it. At least not to my knowledge.

I'm sure that you would be suprised at the number of business deals that this or most any other city enters without any public input.

I honestly didn't think the prices were bad at all. I definitely thought it was WAY overstaffed for what they offered. But for the most part the costs fell right in line for what you would expect to pay at any similar kinda of establishment in a larger metropolitan area. And without the comparable attendance that could have also been their financial downfall.

Well the problem I see is that no one is asking the people that are going to be using this place questions "Kids". My son had a party there once and he was disappointed. He said half the games were broke and the games weren't for all age groups. He liked the carts and the putt putt, but the carts needed to have some type of clock system so they could compare times with his buddy's to see who was first. Ask your kids and see what they would do to change all 4 fun and make it better, because if it doesn't change it will fail again.
