Here's another way to look at the situation...Since the mayor is now somewhat of an "expert" at filing bankruptcy, maybe he can help the City of Dodge City file bankruptcy and the city can come out of this smelling like a rose!

Hey, fellas (Lurker and LG) - I happened to be in the other board a few minutes ago.....there was a poster who put this (our very favorite) board down for the use of foul language. Said he'd (she'd) been reading the posts on both boards "for quite a while" and decided to join the other one because it was better. I about rolled on the floor laughing!!!!!

Just thought I'd share and try to bring some levity to this thread.

I'm guessing you have no information to support this, so instead of speculating blindly, why don't you just contact Tim Vandernack (sp?) and ask him how he found out, and if it came from a commissioner? Here's his number: 227-2712. Let us know what you find out.

I laughed when I saw that too. He evidently saw the word shit or ass on this board and was deeply offended. He said he'd been perusing the old board for two or three years?? And he'd never seen any bad words on the old board? Must be blind or something. This board is much cleaner and more civil than that board. Even though they have their "muck filter" turned on, everyone was able to get around it.

Me thinks he is one of vegans or DCT's sockpuppets or buddies trying to bolster the old board and the need for it's existance...

C'mon DCT cheerleader, you can do better than that can't you? What a riot!

If he/she truly is an old person, that was sincerely offended by the language "in written text" "on a public forum", then he/she needs to turn off their computer or stop surfing the net. I've been on a lot of boards...It doesn't get much better than this.

So sorry we offended some poor person's virgin ears. Thanks KCM I didn't think I was an a$$hole but I did post on this thread so I figured I was included as one. But I've been called a damn,excuse my language, site worse by better people.
