| OK, let me throw this out for comment. Quote:
I’m not happy with this in general and less happy about it being rolled out without advanced notice.

Very well said! Has anybody noticed that Taco Tico has a no gun sticker by their door? For about a week they have also had a sticker underneath the no gun sticker declaring them as a criminal safe zone. I thought it was kinda funny....

When and where is the city commission meeting. Maybe we need to band together in force and show up at the meeting and speak our mind.

| Here's the text from the Capitol Journal. One point I see, is that they want to make it illegal for you to take a gun in a place, without them posting the "no gun" sign in thier window. Then when an out of towner comes in, they see there's no sign, they walk in, and get busted. Shamefull stuff. Quote:

| This is interesting. Our new Kansas Attorney General doesn't want cities to enact ordinances. He suggests they simply buy signs. Quote:

| Maybe we should also all write our state senators to back this bill by the senator from Haysville. The senator for Dodge City is Tim Huelskamp, his email addy is huelskamp@senate.state.ks.us I sent the following email to him, I hope Tee doesn't mind that I stole some of his material off of here to help make my point. Feel free to copy and paste my email to him with your signature to show support. Quote:

| I'll bet the DCPD writes 10X more CC violation summons than they write P-WOP summons'z. Before anyone gets pissy; P-WOP: Picasso - WithOut Permit.
