Well.. if it's a well thought out rape, by some psycho.. I don't think the woman carrying a gun is gonna make that much of a difference.

and while while i'm playing 20 questions on the topic.. there's a matter of having the safety on, is it going to be loaded? maybe one of those little gun locks on it? What if you shoot yourself in the foot like that FBI guy did on YouTube??

It's illegal to carry a firearm out in the open inside the city limits of Topeka. Concealed carry keeps criminal wondering who might be ready to defend themselves. So my license helps to keep others safe as well.

The Kel Tec doesn't have a safety except for the fact that it is a double action semi-auto that requires a full pull of the trigger in order to fire.

The XD.45 has 2 built in safety devices both the trigger and the grip must be held firmly for the weapon to fire.

However, any resposible owner knows that a safety can fail so proper use and caution are always in order.

If I happen to shoot myself in the foot I'll bleed. And hopefully I won't do that again.

Every firearm should ALWAYS be considered to be loaded until you personally verify that it is not.

This is one of the few topics that Wordy and I agree on. He may be a lot of things but criminal isn’t one of them.

You conceal because it is a tactical advantage to have the concealed weapon. Plus, you don't tend to cause fear and have all the attention on you like you would if you open carry.
