The 2 men were originally charged with attempted first-degree murder, but the judge ruled there was not enough evidence to justify that charge.

Incidentally, I understand why the attorneys ask the "Dodge City, Ford County, Kansas" questions — what I meant to say earlier was that the question always provokes an inner giggle till I remember its purpose.

I have not read the Globe article but it was mentioned in this forum that the judge said there was not enough evidence for attempted murder. What charges are remaining then? If these men were from a gang that did a driveby and now off the hook for att. murder, then that only leaves room for lesser charges. Ultimately they would spend little time in the slam, do some time on corrections, then back with the homies laughing it up at our legal system as they spread bullets around our city.
