I’ve always felt that folks that have never been through divorce court have no idea how screwed up it is and just view folks that complain as whiners. Then when it happens to them, they get their eyes opened, but they don’t get listened to for the above reason.

And I've always thought that if more people knew about the financial impact of divorce, they would think twice about getting married in the first place and maybe even choosier about who. But then, I'd have to be kicking my own butt first - and that just won't happen!

Very true KC.

I’d include the financial impact of marriage with that. Most trouble starts around money in some manner.
