| I saw on KSN News this evening that they reported that 35% voter turnout was expected. Too bad for Mike B. and the unregistered whiners, they will have to live with a casino after all!     |

| Maybe there will be some of that casino money going to improve the airport and get flights from more cities to come play at our casino. Sure would be a good idea to set up some fly cheap package deals from other areas. One low price for round trip plane fare, stay in hotel, and a few dollars in "free" chips to play in the casino. |

| sunny beach, I've said along time ago that the casino vote would pass by a 3-1 margin. Dodge City and Ford County will continue to move forward. Good things will continue in Dodge and in the County. TexKan, Is it a good deal that our property value increases? Doesn't a higher property value mean a higher property tax we'll have to pay? |

| With a bigger tax base and more money coming in there would be a better chance that our mill levy will actually go down. |

| Trust me your taxes aren't that high as it is............... I plan on sellin - my house ain't nuthin but profit at this point! It's an financial issue for me and finances are lookin up. The taxes I pay are pretty minimal compared to what our taxes are down here. Course my house up there isn't worth 100 thousand either but still I don't mind an increase if it gets Dodge on the track to prosperity and progress.

I agree with you concerning the airport. I believe improving and enlarging the airport is vital for Dodge to continue to grow. Whenever my wife and I fly we leave for DDC because of the free parking and less travel time on the road. |
