Too bad for Mike B. and the unregistered whiners, they will have to live with a casino after all!

Dodge City and Ford County will continue to move forward. Good things will continue in Dodge and in the County.

TexKan,

Is it a good deal that our property value increases?

Doesn't a higher property value mean a higher property tax we'll have to pay?

Thank you Mike B for responding to a smart*ss remark with class. It seems that some people can't make a statement without puffing their chests out and showing their intelligence (or lack thereof).

Don’t count on it. There’s going to a line at the trough looking for handouts of the projected windfall of tax dollars for everything you can imagine before the first dime is collected.

It wasn't a smart@ss remark, and not intended as one. If you took it as a smart@ss remark, I feel sorry for you.

Then reread it. I think everyone took it as a smart*ss comment by the reps and comments I received.

Why do you feel sorry for me?

All is good between Mike B. and myself, so that's all that really matters, you go ahead and continue to see things the way you want to see them.

I think it would be great to expand the airport - I have never figured out why I can only fly (affordably) to Wichita. Just has always sucked in my opinion. SW Ks is sort of cut off from the rest of KS - without a doubt. Wether the airport expansion be in GC or DC - there needs to be one. 150 miles is a long way to drive when it's snowing or your flight gets in a 10pm or you have to leave at 6am. I'm all for expansion.

Course with thoughts like that Mike - better be careful - we'll be beggin ya run for city council again!!!! I would love for Dodge to be a legit location for something other than the paid coyotes.

To the poster of negative rep with this comment on this post:

06-27-2007 08:17 AM Angry today?

I'm not angry, I stated a fact, that Mike B. and I traded positive rep with each other, and that we hold no hard feelings on any previous posts. We actually agree on quite a few things, but the casino wasn't one of them.

That' don't make lots of sense but then often times things don't. Let it go and forge ahead - you still got lots of good things to talk about!

We had our spat. Hope you don't think it was me. I don't neg rep anyone. If I have a problem with them, I say it on the board for all to see.
