| The commi$$ioner$ will soon have the final $ay in where and how over $100 MILLION dollars goes. I don't think there is a need to put them under the looking glass.

| If you don't like the way they are spending it, vote them out. I plan to because I think it's wrong that WND money was given to the school to put in new artificial turf and a track. I also think it was wrong that money was given to Boot Hill and to Roundup Arena. |

I agree with the artificial turf. I believe it is wrong for one taxing entity (443) to take or even ask for funds from another taxing entity(wnd). Round up, to me anyways, is another story. Boot Hill should not recieve any funds from any taxing entity untill they open their books to the public. Which, I may be wrong, has not been done yet. BTW, The CFAB members are appointed by the commissions (city and county, 3 from each) with the chairman who is the president of Dodge City/Ford County Development Corp. I really doubt that the individuals who sits on the CFAB will cause any waves with the commissions. They are appointed because the commission knows how to stack the deck in their favor, which has always been the case, just the way it is. The CFAB are individuals who go through interviews with the commissions. Say the wrong words and chances are "you're out!" Sure, someone who disagrees may be appointed, but rest assured the majority will stand with the commissions. |

Boot Hill Museum's books are open. They are audited by a local CPA frim every year (for 20 years or more) and found in compliance with GAAP. They have been reviewed by CFAB sub-committee. You can disagree with WND funds being distributed to BHM - but please stop saying that Boot Hill's books need to be audited, or open to the public. It's a worn-out rumor.

| As far as 443 they should hit the packinghouse up for funds not WND. Boot Hill, on the other hand, I have no problem with. The WND project is meant to help bring visitors to dodge and Boot Hill can do just that. In any case since we can't seem to get the SEC built I'd much rather see the money got to entities such as Boot Hill than our schools.

Clueless, Tell me where the audits are. I'd like to see one! A worn-out rumor? Kind of like the rumor that property taxes will go up if the County repeals their WND sales tax?
