Why not. Is that inside the city limits? IF it's not does that have a play on how much money Dodge City gets? At least people will be able to go to the Casino and not drive through this dirty town and see how filthy it is!

| The Casino will be inside the city limits; no matter where it's built.... UNLESS it's built within another city's limits wherein D.C. cannot annex....

| Looking on the 2007 Official Ford Rural Directory, Dodge Township 21. The ground that has been purchased from Listed Owners, Western Beverage,Inc. Sorry, that should be Mr. Joe Bogner, owner of Western Beverage Inc. Approx. 400 acres. This property will be in Ford County, so you can bet your bottom DOLLAR that Dodge City will annex this property. This ground will have 3 enterances. This land will face on Road 108 east side, a Dirt Road. Now the County will have to pave this Road. The east side will have one inlet/outlet to the bypass, at the road leading to Joe Bogner House. Yes the house and Barn will go with the purchase. One more access from Bogner house that will go east and turn north and connect with a street in the Cunningham Addn, sorry I don't have the name of the addition. Lot's of nice homes in this addition. A lot of question and answers will be needed, but the public and land owners will not have very little say. How much will the City be out to install Water and Sewer lines. Natural Gas. Will the County need to build another EMS and fire station in this area. The landowners North of Bogners house will they be taken into the City, will they have to have city water, sewer installed? Of course roads now will need to be paved. The quite little community will no longer be a peaceful place with the Casino traffic 24 hours a day. Well that's life. |

| Well, suggesting another spot, and there is bound to be someone else complaining for reasons why not to 'put' it there. If Dodge City Citizens are so worried about it being placed in town, and near them, Then why not put it somewhere outside of town?? How about the old Richland Valley Area??? There is plenty of space out that way, if you can get the land owners near by to sell.

| Yuk. Little Sis lives in Cunningham Addn. Too much traffic for that sleepy little place. An' I don't want to fight it when I go visit! But then, it'll be within a decent walking distance, probably - so it ain't all bad!!!! ![]()

| I wonder who the real estate company and agent will be when this land and property is sold and bought? I bet they'll get a hefty commission when its all said and done. I just wonder if Coldwell Banker real estate is having anything to do with it?

| Just a couple more questions. Maybe someone can answer these. Since the Casino and the SEC will be built next door to each other who's actually buying the land? Do you think wnd tax dollars will pay for the land the sec sits on and the casino pays for the rest? If these two facilities are tied so closely together who's paying for what as far as sewer access, electric, water, etc.? Will wnd or the casino or the county pay for roads, and their up-keep, to the facilities? The CFAB chairman, Mr. Greg Starks, already indicated that the city will most likely annex the property, so will the city be paying for anything? I guess we have about two years to figure all this out. Maybe alot less time though. Has anyone heard a time frame for the SEC?
