| Wichita defeated the casino by a pretty decent margin. I guess that is probably good for DC because now those people can come out here (or go to kc).

| First, the Wichita gaming interests will look at the viability of a South-Central casino in Sumner County. Sedgwick voters clearly said that they don't want the casino, so it then goes to Sumner who already voted in favor - probably along I-35, very near the Sedgwick County line. Several groups have already looked at or expressed an interest in Dodge City. It's unknown whether any will file an application with Lottery and compete with Boot Hill Gaming. I've heard there may be as many as a dozen applicants for the Wyandotte County facility.

| bingo just wondering how may churches in wichita still have their bingo parols? just a thought, maybe the god lord has helped out dodge city in a rather strange way. when sedgwick county hears that sucking sound of monies leaving for summner and ford counties, listen carefully and you will here them cry. |

| Dream On Dodge City..who wants to go there for gambling when you can go to much nicer smelling places like KC, Topeka and others. I am sorry but DC has a bad name.

I appreciate your opinion, but - please read your own signature line... The casino is a dream of many Dodge City people, and you're not adding any encouragement. I think the difference is - there are dreamers and there are dream-makers and too often they challenge each other instead of working together. People will come - besides on the west side the air's pretty fresh, grass is green and a new smell - money and growth.

| Strangely enough. I don't think location really matters when it comes to the people COMING to the casino. They're going to be inside, and pumping coins and dollars into machinery. Who it matters to is the everyday people that are dealing with the business and the effects of that business. On the way to Oklahoma City.... I want to say it's Watonga, but I think i'm wrong on the location.. there is a little "Mobile Home" they've turned into a casino, everytime I drive by there, the parking lot is loaded.

| Hey I am just saying it like it is. I followed my dreams and they were not in DC. I wish all you fine people would see this. Get the hell out while you can!

| OK, so any of us who have a dream in-or-for Dodge City are somehow misguided and are encouraged to escape. Thanks for clearing this up pootsy. We'll just have to disagree.
