| City annexation was discussed -- maybe you weren't at meeting? Quote:
Re: Horses -- the reason, I have heard stated from Ed E. and others, that Ford County is thinking about a second events center (damn that's free money, I guess) is that Butler/National/Global didn't want to manage agri shows/expos, etc. Perhaps they've changed their minds. Haven't heard that at any meeting, but I'll stand corrected if proven true. Quote:

| Ok, let's see where we are Butler National Services -- casino/hotel -- no events center management -- no free land for special events center Global -- paid 100,000 so far even if they aren't in the final deal -- (thanks to Jim Sherer for that yes vote -- ) Global doesn't want to manage agri events and Butler representative did state they don't want horses Dodge City Gaming Inc. -- casino/hotel/rodeo/agri events center -- free land for special events center Will be glad to manage all events, including horses. Butler land in city/county -- but needs major tax spending for utilities and roads Dodge City Gaming land in county now -- annexation welcomed into city; lower costs for all services, including roads and fire protection I don't see any problems here. Perhaps if Butler would offer free land, it might be closer, but with all the tax money being spent in the future to bring Butler services, including additional fire protection, the costs will be millions and millions more for Butler, as it stands. As it stands, Dodge City Gaming will save us all millions and millions of dollars. And if you're ok with our special events center being next to casino, you have no point to make about what events are there, do you ? What, nothing for families ever ? That will make sure the Events Center doesn't do well, right ? PS I would still put the whole events center with agri part by Wright Park, but oh well. Promises, promises, promises... | Mexicans don't like to gamble. They don't need horse barns, they need 55 gallon drums cut in half to keep the roosters. They also need to put in a big pit to put the dog fights in and then a parking spot so the taco waggon can get right next to it. |

| You have never been to the casinos down here in Phoenix then, they love to gamble as much as any white man does. |
