Clueless;

What I was trying to get across, the PUBLIC expect our City/County to be forthright in supplying information to them. Your statement MIGHT be right, and Oldtimer statement MIGHT also be right. Example. My first post was using the CFAB minutes. It was dated (May) 5/20/07. This would be for the month of April,2007. The next minutes posted from CFAB is August(8/23/07). This will be for July,2007.

We have missing the month of MAY and JUNE,2007 If you recall this is when GLOBAL was trying to sell the City on the idea THEY were the best. We do not have any information on what the agreement was that was forwarded to the City.

If we do not have records that above board, so the public can see what is going on, you will always have people mistrusting BOARDS/Commissions about what goes on behind close doors. Is this asking to much ?

I think that you're raising a completely separate issue and I agree that agenda's and minutes need to be complete and available. I have also experienced that problem with some municipalities. The County and City are both parties to the Global agreement. Have you asked both for a copy of the contract?

then, at least, we agee -- no need for second expo center

guess if I'm wrong -- and I don't admitt that I'm wrong about Global not wanting to manage agri events, but ... -- then we certainly don't need the second Expo center being privately devloped by Ed Elam, Ann Torrey, Lance Nichols, et al. Right ?

Is that Correct ? Huh ? What do you say ?

I pointedly said you were wrong about Butler ever saying it was against ag-horse-or dirt events. About Global saying that - I've never heard them say it. I don't think ag events are their strong-suit, but they have said they expect 6-8 such events per year.

What do I say - I think we do need to compliment our 4-H, Fair Board, extension, Roundup, with additional covered arena and livestock space. Yes. Not a castle - but improved, spacious facilities with more camping area. There are a lot of ag-events that could be going on every week of the year, especially in a covered arena. Maybe build those facilities where the fair grounds are now with a bridge over to Roundup - making our ag-rodeo-event area a total complex instead of separated. That's what I say.

how many persons are in 4-H?

I don't actually know -- what, about 200-300 or so ? Based on information on their web site, that would be about it. So, use a few hundred thousands of dollars for 300 people ? Right ?
