| It's fitting that they have this election on April 1st because we are all fools thinking any of these people will do anything what so ever to better the community. If you are here illegally, work at the packing plant, have ownership in the packing plant then congrats to you. Everyone else in the city lost because of lack of representation.

| What I find almost pathetic is that the most votes one person got was 1164. Is that all that voted in this city? Figuring a population of 26,000 that is only a 4.47% turnout!

| You forgot to subtract illegals and children. 26,000 * 35% (legal) = 9100 legal citizens of those legal citizens (I'm guessing) nearly 55% are children under 18 That's 4050 legal citizens of voting age Of those, about 35% care enough to register = 1417 We need to work on getting more people registered and voting.

| I have a question...Is City Commisioner a paid position? If so, how much do they get paid? Is it an annual salary, or are they paid a set amount of dollars per meeting they attend? If anybody know the answer, I would greatly appreciate it if you post it here.
