Clueless,

FYI- I was being abit sarcastic. I'm fully aware of what roll the casino and it's developers play. Besides that, it's to easy to get an end around on that play!

Mike - OK, and I wasn't trying to needle you - just pointing out a fact some people might not know. From what I've witnessed, the Casino people are very careful to not cross that line.

The casino and ancillary development will have a large impact on Dodge City. To me, I would expect that City officials would be involved in the process.

Clueless,

I agree 100%! I believe a (singular) city official should be involved in this process. Since no official business or action will be taking place I would think one person could handle the task of reporting back to the rest of the commissioners and city manager concerning the discussions that took place. If need be a transcript or a recording of the procedings would suffice.

To me sending three, at tax payers expense, is overkill!

eunuch,

Are you telling me that you actually believe that the commissioners, city and couty actually follow that rule? Come on! They may follow it in public, but in all reality when the rubber mets the road, well...
