City Commissioners Attending Lottery Commission Review May 19-20, 2008 Topeka, Kansas Mayor Kent Smoll, Commissioner Rick Sowers, and City Manager Ken Strobel will be attending the Kansas Lottery Commission Review on May 19-20, 2008 in Topeka, Kansas. | Maybe realtors could pay ? Perhaps the 'official' realtor, CFAB Chair Greg Starks, for the Mariah Complex could pay ? Of course, being that he's a city non-elected official, maybe that's not legal either ? Does it matter to anyone, another good question... just your money, but there's a lot of it. Interestingly, the same city officials that were asked and wouldn't pay for travel for volunteer tourism venue board members to testify before the Kansas legislative hearings on more tourism money for Dodge City (they paid their cost themselves and went anyway, of course) are the same ones that are getting a paid trip to just watch a meeting on the Casino. Shows their priorities. |
