this one is a little hard to judge. Ms. E is very feisty and it isn't the first time that she has upset a court. On the other side, Judge V knows better than to converse with witnesses et al in the hallway and made the matter worse. Ms. E earned her contempt citation but more than that is a query.

I made the almost fatal mistake of posting this in the other forum. I am Van's class mate - wouldn't try to put him down or question his judgement - and Linda helped me through a real ugly case once a long while back. So I won't try to judge her, either.

I just hope they can put this aside and still work together. For an attorney, I wouldn't think there was anything worse than having the only judge in town mad at ya!

My personal opinion is that there's only so much (precious little) advertising money to be spent in DCK. So the Glob wants all of it. They seem to be afraid to offend anybody. The only problem with that is that they neglect the rest of us. I always thought that the free press didn't owe anything to anybody. Well......maybe that's underground and not corporate. Oh, well, at least there's more than one outlet to get the news!

My personal opinion is: I really doubt that anything happened between the Judge, victims and witnesses. Linda had no proof that something did happen. Just a suspicion, and a very poor one at that. Anyway, her client walked. She accomplished what she was paid to do.

Shame on the Globe! You seem to be tardy on stories. When I want to know what's really going on in Dodge, I just read the Hutch paper.

Everyone's handing out their opinion, Here is mine. The Court systems in DC have their own cliques and ways of doing "their" business. They are in their own little world. My own experiences show me....do IT their way or "they" will make it as difficult as they want to weed out those who are "not their own kind". It's my opinion that the judicial system here is not run fairly...it's about who you are, who you know and it's about if you are playing the "game" like you're supposed to by "their" rules.
