| Please help me! First, I want to thank each and everyone of you that helped me reach my goal last year. The fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters is here again and I have pledged to raise 1000.00 in this years Bowl For Kid's Sake fundraiser. I would appreciate any help our members can give me with this. Even $15.00 would be appreciated immensely. This is a little you should know about what this is for: Big Brothers Big Sisters helps match at risk children from poverty stricken, at risk households with mentors. The funds they receive from this event stays in Ford County and goes toward the children in Ford County. Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and its agencies and affiliates are nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations and as such accept contributions which are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Big Brothers Big Sisters is the most effective youth mentoring association in America. Research and anecdotal evidence show specifically that BBBS one-to-one mentoring helps at-risk youth overcome the many challenges they face. Little Brothers and Sisters are less likely to begin using illegal drugs, consume alcohol, skip school and classes, or engage in acts of violence. They have greater self-esteem, confidence in their schoolwork performance, and are able to get along better with their friends and families. Pledging me is simple. I have a website which will allow you to contribute directly to Ford County BBBS for this event by check or credit card. Go here to pledge or to monitor my progress toward my goal of 1000.00 http://fobfks.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=162789&supId=76114172 Video of local matches that have been made possible through your past contributions: http://www.starrtech.net/~timtrent/images/BBBS.wmv You will receive a tax receipt for your donation. All pledges will show instantly on the website, giving credit in your name, toward my goal. Please help me to change a child's life through this very efficient local organization. It wont work without your participation. Thank You in advance! Sincerely, Tee Last edited by Tee; 02-28-2006 at 05:24 PM. |

| It's good to give to a good cause, since my work schedule won't allow me to donate my time, I will donate my $$ to your team for support.

| Tee: I would like to donate but the site won't let me chose "bill me". It keeps telling me it wants a CC #. I will try again. Best of luck.

| The least I could do...like I said, since I can't donate my time to this, my money is just going to have to do. It is a project that I believe in and wish that I could give more.
