The funeral was very nice. Thank you to the Patriot Guard for their assistance. I had never seen something so beautiful and awesome. The thunder roar of the motorcycles was the most beautiful sound I have ever heard. I am sure the family is very appreciative. I am just sorry that I was not able to speak to each member of the Patriots to thank them personally.

I had heard there was approx. 280 riders in Greensburg when the family left for Dodge. Along the way, they picked up about 180 more from different local groups.

Yes, Fred himself was even here. I didnt hear him say anything but I did see him. Seems like the women in the group were the most vocal. What is most upsetting to me about the whole thing were all the pre-teen kids they had involved with them.

I was coming south into town on 14th just as the bikes were pulling into the church (obviously a very long line). I was stopped behind the cops and not 8 feet in front of protesters (my estimate is 20, women and children). They started yelling at me, and when I looked up they were laughing like this is all some big joke. It was all I could do not to lift my finger as I mouthed two very appropriate words. I seen some officers turn around and look so I figured I had better do a u and go back around the other way into town. I wonder how many officers would have said, "What Car? I didn't see that car spray gravel all over em".



I couldn't resist, but I shouldn't have even gave phelps this much of my time.
