And to think with everything else they (Phelps) were flying the American flags and the Kansas flag upside down. One Americian flag looked like it may have been burnt. They have their rights but some things are just carried too damned far.

I was able to see a little bit of the events Saturday and it was beautiful. It is awsome to see everybody come out with their flags to support and thank the family of a soldier that has died. I do wish it would NOT take the death of a soldier or the threat of Fred Phelps and his disgusting beliefs to bring everybody out. I was one of the people that lined the road on the way to the cemetary holding a flag. It wasnt much, but all I could do. I was very proud to be there to do that. My heart still breaks for the family. They have suffered a horrible loss and will forever miss him. Sgt. Jessie Davila

Thanks, Wizz, for bein' there to represent those of us that couldn't. It must have comforted his family beyond words to see the support.

I was among those proudly holding a flag in honor of Sgt. Davila and yes, the protesters showed up. But, there were only about 10 of them. They were nothing compared to the enormous crowd we had generated. I saw that Phelps was there when I watched the news that night. I didn't actually see him on Saturday because my back was to him. We drowned them out, hands down. Their pathetic little display only lasted about an hour and then they were gone. God bless America and our brave soldiers. God be with the Davila family, as well.

Here is a pic we took:

Was told by somebody that rode from Dodge to Greensburg and back that CNN did a story on the Patriot Guard. That story is supposed to air tonight at 7pm on CNN. Now that I think about it CNN is on the Eastern time zone and he didn't specifically say 7pm Central time so it might possibly be on at 6pm central or 7 pm central.

Just thought I would pass on the info that I had in case any of you wanted to take a look at the piece they did.
