| Those old dorms at SMPC were trashed. Most of the windows had been broken out for several years and the men's dorm that was just torn down had a fire a few months ago. The whole situation about SMPC makes me sad, I have a lot of good memories from there when I was a kid as both my folks were alumni and my little brother went to college there. (Not me--- too close to home! Go KSU!!!) |

| I remember the place across from McGuirk....... (never could spell that name!!)............... my first taste of lime sherbert............ was just too good. I'm thinkin it was more a cafe but might just be gettin old. I remember walkin up to it when visiting cause my sis lived on Clark.... so was just a jump aways. Course always had to stop on the way home from the pool.................... I always thought the dirt roads were so quaint... course we didn't have dirt roads in the city......... only in the country... so dirt roads were a treat to us!!

| Tex? You know Yosi??? She is awesome. Most of my family worked at the Spur when she was cooking there! That was MANY years ago but she still remembers all of us. She made the most awesome almond chicken! Boy do I miss that womans sweet n sour sauce. Wow this is fun remembering things like this...this message board is great..not like the other one where you have to worry about people insulting you right and left over anything you say. Next time I see Yosi I am going to tell her that people are still talking about her and she needs to bottle that sauce or sell the recipe! WOOHOO |

LOL Bill always scared us to death...... but he too was a kind spirit. I thing Yosi was Bill's ying and Bill was her yang....... together they were quite successful
