We lived 6 or 7 blocks from the old Safeway when I was growing up (so ALL o' you doGs quit belly-achin' about age). Me an' my 'other' sistas used to walk down there to pick up things that got left off Mom's Saturday grocery list for Dillons. At that time, there was no need to call it South Dillons.

How many of you remember the Payday IGA where the Mi Rumba store is/was? Just south of the bridge on 2nd on the west side of the street.
