Unicorn....me an' you both. I don't go as far back as Bugsy, though - I don't remember the Cord dealership. My earliest recollection of that building was when my dad sold Buicks there for George-Nielsen. I do remember the water line from the flood of '65 and I remember an old junk car our family had that sat on the back lot. They couldn't get it started to move it, so it was flooded out too. Delmonico's - that was a treat to get to go there with Grandma and Grandpa after Church. Not all of us could go at once and we were excited when it was our turn!

Well...if Dillons isn't making money there I doubt if Gene's would make a killing. Business doesn't move somewhere to help the people and give them choice, they move there for one reason...to make money $$ and if the economy "south of the tracks" won't support anything more than a Dollar General then I guess they will have to go North to shop.
