boy o boy.. I'm only 24, but I remember the IGA where Mi Rumba used to be.. they used to have penny gum!!! When my mom said she was going grocery shopping we would race to find all the pennies we could around the house, we'd end up leaving that store with a mouth and pocket full of gum. I remember the IGA up north too where Alco now is. They used to have a basket w/ all sorts of candy I loved those 2 stores. Dillons (south) has gone downhill ALOTTTTTTT the last few times I've bought food from there it's been outdated, my friend got a frozen dinner from there 2 weeks ago and it was freezer burnt!! I do remember taking crushed cans up there and getting money for them, that was pretty cool. Now that we have a soooopa doooopa WalMart and soooopa dooooopa Dillons not much need for more grocery stores unless the prices are cheaper.
