Mike Rodriguez Van Fund

As many of you know, a friend of mine, Michael Rodriguez, was delivering for Southwest Distributing and wrecked his truck.

The result of this crash left Michael paralyzed from the waist down. He has been working diligently with therapy and is regaining some movement of is legs, but is unable to walk or drive.

I have decided to work harder on helping Mike with his next challenge. Mike has been looking to obtain a van that he can drive, himself. These vehicles are equiped with wheelchair lifts and the accelerator and brakes are transferred to hand controls. In most cases, the floor of the vehicle must also be lowered. With all the needed changes, it makes even a used vehicle more expensive.

I am asking for your donations to this cause. I have set up a collection point at WPMC Therapy Services. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to the following address. Please make checks out to "Michael Rodriguez Van Fund". He would appreciate anything you can do. I will also be trying to work on some local and regional businesses for donations, as well.

Michael Rodriguez Fund
WPMC Therapy Services
2601 N. Central Ave
Dodge City, KS

100% of collected donations will go to the purchase of this needed vehicle and will soon allow Mike to be able to more independent. Michael has a long way to go and this will help alleviate some of the stress and frustration with his life. Thank you very much for any support you may be able to give.
