Poor Juan - I really feel sorry for ya - tryin so hard to be someone, sumthin your not - just to raise a rucus.

I get so tired of having to explain to some folks that YOUR truth doesn't make MY truth incorrect. Thats' not fair play and it's OPINIONS we view on here. Most are true, honest thought out feelings on issues of the day or just things that are buggin us. If ya don't agree with them - disagree in a civilized manner -

It irritates me when someone stirs sumthin up and then gets ugly with others. Juan I didn't think your first post was something that reflected much willingness to have open conversation - now I'm convinced of that feeling. I will respect your opinion but I just don't buy it. It's not necessary to be rude - if ya get pissed off at someone send them a PM - it makes ya look a lot friendlier in the end.

Ya probably woulda been better off just conversing the issue rather than blastin everyone - didn't anybody ever tell ya don't insult a crowd of folks if you are standin by yourself?........see what ya gone and did????

The U.S. House is supposed to discuss a bill this week that would make illegal entry a Federal crime.

OK now don't take this wrong I'm not complaining, but did I mis something or what?

Seems less than a year ago the government was talking about handing over drivers licenses to illegals and pretty much making being illegal a technicality. Why all the sudden a change to Mr Hardaz on the illegal stance? Again, I'm not complaining, in fact I say better late than never, I just feel like I must have missed something.

I mean Its not like its an election year.

Everyone is gearing up for Mid Term elections. An awful lot of stuff that was goin down had to do with Pres. Fox and making NAFTA work as well for the US as it does for Mexico...........Overall the public is gettin tired of footin bills and being the "land of opportunity" for so many when our own "opportunitites" are diminished in order to provide other country's citizens with the opportunity thier own countries refuse to offer.

Jaun, at the risk of sounding redundant, I am going to echo what most everybody has already said. We welcome all opinions but we don't take too kindly being blasted for opinions you might not share. If you'll reread some of your early posts, you'll find that some of them are negative toward other posters. You might be taken more seriously if your posts are positive toward another poster, and positively restate your own opinion and perhaps add any other details you might have to support your opinion.

We knew it was just a matter of time before somebody chose to call us out...we'd hoped it would be a long time, though.

Sorry being raised in Texas altho I came by way of DC - I learned how to spell spanish...........Castillian tho it may be........... too bad "JAUN" didn't learn to spell during his summers in Texas.......must not of been too many of em..........

Detector - You didn't miss a thing - it's just like the ocean, the waves rise and fall, sometimes in several directions. There's different agenda's and one of the Representatives (I think from Wisconsin or Minnesota) filed the bill in the House to make it Federal and a felony.

At the same time, an article this Sunday talked about how the FDIC is courting banks and hispanic support groups to encourage opening accounts for illegal workers so they gain some stability. I understand FDIC met with local bankers recently.

So, there's a tug-a-war between the money side and the judicial side on how we embrace (read: use) illegal workers.

And, to Jaun - none of that is 'racist'. Besides, how can be it be racial when technically Latino's are categorized as 'white'. Their ethnicity is then noted as hispanic. I agree with an earlier post - my experience has proven many times that the loudest bigot among us will always be the first to use the term 'racist'. Never fails.

It's all got to do with the money...plain and simple...it always has to do with "follow the money", doesn't it!
