Quality Customer Service

I know we have had our share of warning others where we might not get the best customer service but how about we highlight some good stuff here too? I know, how totally Pollyanna of me but hey, I like hearing good stuff about this town.

Anyway, I have had some nice service since I have been back visiting. The young kids at the Hobby Lobby framing department have really impressed me. They are swamped right now but are trying their best to help everyone that has even the tiniest question. They will help you pick out mats and frames and give their opinion and best of all they seem to not only like their job but take great pride in it. Their work has been quality as well. Yay for them.

Arby's. Now, I'm not a fast food lover but sometimes when I am here it is the only option as I have to kind of follow the herd of my family from here to there. Both times I have gone inside the place was really clean. Not only that but they were appropriately staffed and we were treated very well. Our food came out super fast and the help was very polite. I was impressed.

Oh, I forgot. Wendy's. Some of the folks that work there have been there for years. I ordered a coffee and they proceeded to tell me that although it was a fresh pot it seemed stronger than usual and that they would brew another pot right away if I wasn't satisfied. Hello? Their coffee is a quarter and they actually cared if I liked it or not. Plus, it was actually good!

I will second what you said. I have never had a problem with Hobby Lobby. I have had several pictures custom framed and they do a SPLENDID job. As far as Arby's it's one of the few CLEAN places you can go in town and have good service. It makes me wonder what their managers are doing differently than the other fast food managers.

I agree with you also. I do not shop in Hobby Lobby very often but yes they are always friendly and willing to answer questions. I also go to Arby's more than most other fast food restaraunts for the cleanliness reason and I love their chicken sandwiches!!! I would also like to add the North Kwik Shop and Spee D Stop to the list. Their employees always greet you when you walk in the door and try to make sure everything is stocked.

Too bad we can't give a Customer Service Certificate from DodgeBoard maybe a few times a year to local business based on a poll from ACTUAL customers rather than who's a member of the CC. I love the CC but I think an award from actual customers and locals might be kinda neat for a business. Plus it's pretty good plug for DodgeBoard too.

I just figured a piece of paper can be seen hanging on a business wall - Plus it doesn't take a special set up fee for a screen print.

The Capitol Journal here does a "Best Of Topeka" award every year that you guys might use to draw attention.

They have categories such as best buffet best American best Mexican best supermarket besteye doctor

Litterally a category for everything.

I'm kinda dubious about the results here though as the big winners generally seem to be the big advertisers for the paper.

An independant thing that everyone could vote in might be just the ticket.
