| Kansas Veterans' Cemetery at Fort Dodge The Kansas Veterans' Cemetery at Fort Dodge services veterans, veteran spouses, and eligible family members in and around the surrounding communities. Veterans and eligible dependents are encouraged to pre-certify for interment prior to the time of need to eliminate delay in scheduling services while waiting for military service verification. Pre-certification is not offered in National Veterans Cemeteries. You need not be a resident of Kansas to be eligible. Documentation needed for pre-certification includes a copy of the veterans discharge paper, a completed pre-certification application, and a copy of your marriage license for spousal approval. The office staff is available to assist anyone interested in acquiring the documentation needed. For immediate assistance you may visit the office or call (620) 338-8772. The cemetery offers an annual Wreaths Across America Ceremony, Echo Taps, and annual Memorial Day service. The public is welcome to attend all services in honor and remembrance of our veterans. "NO ONE IS EVER BURIED ALONE, ALL ARE BURIED WITH HONOR"
