And todays managers try to be buddys with their co-workers, which in my opinion is wrong, that just lets them get away with stupid stuff. This town and many others are lacking from "smart" managers that know how to run a business and that is the main reason for the poor service that you receive.
You're right a restaurant or any other store is only as good as the employees and it starts at the top. If the manager is a hole then the other employees won't be any different.

Applebees

I am sure there is an website you could go to to report this action that is happening in Dodge City, or I think they may have some forms in the place it's self. If it is a local problem then maybe Corp. should know about it, I eat there now an then, take out and have found the food to be great.

Yeah, because there are myriad and sundry *other* good restaurants to visit in this town...This is the one thing I am sorely missing about living in a metro area!

We actually READ certain parts of the yellow pages after we moved here. We thought there seemed to be lots of pizza restaurants, only to find out all the listings were for joints that had closed down! Then Gambino's closed, too -- not the best pizza in the world, especially after Chicago, but it was the only option. Now we're all stuck with Pizza Hut or Dominos -- both gross in my opinion.

Papa Murphys in Wally world still gets my vote for the best pizza, only downside is you have to bake it, but well worth it even tons cheaper than Pizza Hut or Dominos!
