Applebees

Wednesday night a crowd of about 18 friends ate at Applebees. We were treated rudily by the management team, mainly manager Michael Harris and none of the 18 or their families will enter Applebees again. If making plans to eat out, I would strongly suggest going else where as Applebees needs to make changes in their management immediately!!!! Don't let our experience tonight happen to you, choose somewhere else!!!

There are two sides to every story and we haven't heard either side. Your statements do not tell your side of the story. If you don't want anyone to eat there anymore you are going to have to explain your self better. Sounded more personal about the manager then anything else. Give us a good reason why or why not go there

I agree, you can't expect me to stop eating at Applebees (Oh man I love the Bourbon St. Steak ) without at least giving a better idea of how you were mistreated so that we can judge for ourselves.

In most of my eating experiences in Dodge City, not picking on anyone in particular, I have noticed that management and service are lacking. I have seen many restaurants come and go, and most of them were due to lack of management and service. Now throw in crummy food, and that is the reason Dodge City is loaded with "fast food" restaurants!! When friends come to visit and want to go out into the Beef Capital for a good steak, I don't know where to send them!!

Is this the same group of people that law enforcement officers were called about after at least one person "helped themsleves" to the beer tap?

Please explain how your group was treated rudely by the staff so we can make our own decisions based on factual actions.

I have to agree I won't quit eating somewhere just because someone says they were treated badly. Tell the whole story and tell it straight and don't leave anything out. Then I would need to hear the other side.

Personally Applebees is still my favorite place to eat. We go to Buffalo Bobs every now and then and even though the servings are huge, they still don't taste as good.

I have noticed the waitress requirements must have changed. Before, there was nothing but young thin hostess and now they look normal. I have never had a problem with the employees including management.

As far as Applebees goes I've foudn that most of them suck. My wife and I go there about once every 3 months only to be reminded why we are glad to have other choices.

On a good note a friend of mine made a manager at the one in Hays cry once. He wasn't mean or rude just inconsolable.
