DCDays fun?

This 100 degree weather kicks my butt. I didn't think they would let me into the BBQ naked, so I just stayed home.

Went to the parade. It was pretty good I have to say. Only complaints:

Do not sit next to kids if you do not want to get wet. I forgot about the water guns and hopefully the camera didn't get to wet. Still it was cool.

Roads should have been blocked off. We sat on the corner of 2nd and Spruce. The roads were not blocked off so every so often cars would go through during the parade.

All in all, had a great time and truly enjoyed the parade this year.

It was very long!!! We rode in the parade, on the PD float, however it was nice to have my kids "locked up" for a few hours!! I got sunburnt but we had a good time!!! I tried to wave to everyone I knew but if I missed ya sorry!!! There were a lot of people there!!!!

Next event I plan to attend is the Hot Dog feed on Thursday, in costume, but I will probably be by myself, hubby has to work, and the friend who was with me Sat has to work too... Unless someone else would like to go with me? Then I plan to go to the arts/crafts stuff and the car show on Sat. I'd love to go to some part of the rodeo, but I don't have the money for the tickets, and I have to work evenings all week... Oh well...

Well, don't try sneaking in. I did that last year, and next thing I knew, some little gal had me all "saddled" up! A lot better than "mutton bustin", though!
