And John i'm sorry that this good spirited thread of yours got taken astray. There are people on this board that have their own agendas and won't let anything get in their way from expressing it.

Days like 9/11 and Dec. 7 and July 4th should be days when the nation as a whole stops their bickering and we all come together as Americans.

My flag flies every single day and is lit at night. I notice every single flag flying. If it is flying at half staff and I dont already know why, I find out. Im impressed by the flags i see flying in yards that have 5 junked cars, beer cans everywhere, not one blade of grass yet there flies OUR flag. I think that says something.
My flag flies every single day and Im proud of it and what it means to me. I will notice every flag and remember why it is flying especially on the "special" days. September 12, and July 5 those should be considered SPECIAL days.

This is what is wrong with our country. You should fly it everyday!! NOt just on special days.

AS i agree with you but if i flew it everyday it wouldn't last as long and i don't have a proper flag pole in my yard. if i did i would fly the flag that flew over the headquarters of my son in laws company in iraq on the eleventh.

Hey drifter, do you walk around with a permanent stick up the ass? I said it jokingly. I know what United means I don't need you to point that out to me. It's called a joke, you do know what that means right?
