    Something relevant to the thread...

Check this site out. Absolutely incredible images.

I watched "102 minutes that changed our world" last night on the History Channel. Pretty moving! It rekindled my thoughts and emotions on the attack.

I watched most of it, my 6 year old daughter learned some about it at school yesterday and had a million questions, so we sat and watched until 9, she was so interested her eyes never left the TV screen. My 4 year old also sat and watched, and was just amazed. I don't know if it helped any or not because at bed time there were a million more questions!

Me too MIT......it was chilling. Listening to the radio calls, the residents of NYC who were so scared: it really brought the magnitude of the situation home to me.....

And John i'm sorry that this good spirited thread of yours got taken astray. There are people on this board that have their own agendas and won't let anything get in their way from expressing it.

Days like 9/11 and Dec. 7 and July 4th should be days when the nation as a whole stops their bickering and we all come together as Americans.
Yesterday Obama and McCain pulled their ads and walked side by side down the ramp to Ground Zero as Americans with a common cause. I followed suit and took the day off from posting. I watched a YouTube of the jumpers that I hadn’t seen before. The stuff that didn’t run on TV. I can’t imagine the nightmares of the people that did make it out by wading through the blood and human debris on the sidewalk.

Then last night I checked in here and thought that I accidently went to the Democratic Underground without the profanity. You’re right Drifter, some folks have an agenda that takes priority over 9-11 and it ain’t limited to Army or Republicans.

Life as we know it doesn't stop on 9/11 Hi.
I was near the WTC on 9/11, and still am today.
I stopped by G/Z yesterday on my ride into NYC, to pay my respects
to friends & co-workers who never made it out.

Just because YOU choose to observe the day by taking the "day off from posting" (WTF) doesn't mean ANYONE else has to.

p.s. watch your step getting off the soapbox..
