Computer & Video Game Reviews

Not sure how many people here on the board will get any use out of this(not sure if anybody will even read these), but this is my contribution to human society lol.
Any of you that know me, knows one thing. I play a lot of computer games and video games, so I thought I would use this knowledge for the good of all mankind. By giving reviews to any that would use them could. But before I go through all the trouble of this I thought I'd see how well this would work on the board, so let me know what you think and if anybody would get any use from these such reviews.

Sounds good. I'm a gamer myself.

I've been playing Asheron's Call for over 6 years now and I know its technology has got to be old. So what on the horizon? Whats the next step in gaming technology?

I thought Far Cry was awesome. Max Payne 2 was very good too.

I agree Far Cry was incredible and I am waiting for the release of the Xbox 360 version which is called Far Cry Predator and looks pretty good.

My biggest complaint with the newer games is they seem to have lost the player skill factor. It used to be being good at these games depended a lot on player skill now it depends on your PC's performance.

Back in the days of Quakeworld, although Internet connection played a big part, kill or be killed for the most part was player controlled. Now poor PC performance will get you killed every time.

Detector, if you play AC and like online gaming, you might look into Vanguard when it comes out. Developed by alot of the folks that started EQ1. Looks to be alot more skill based. Less "click attack" and walk away.

http://www.vanguardsoh.com/

It is currently in Beta2, but heading shortly into Beta3. Im on the short list as a tester (beta-ed EQ and WoW). Will probobly get in on B3 or B4. Until then, I'll stick with WoW and wait for TES: Oblivion.

Also on the horizon is Warhammer Online. Its still in fairly early development, but its shaping up.

One last addition that i havent really followed for a bit is Middle Earth Online. I might have to start digging up dirt on it again.
