| Cancelling your AOL account? Several months ago, my aunt in Wichita told me that she could not cancel her AOL account. I said "Why not?, just call and cancel it". She said she had tried but she would be on hold for hours and then eventually get hung up on. I tried helping her but suffered the same results. She finally found it easier to cancel her credit card and have the bank issue a new one. Seems these companies will use all kind of unfair tactics to keep you from cancelling your account. This is the latest one circulating the Internet. This is a recording of a customer service rep from AOL and a customer attempting to cancel his account. | If you want to get rid of AOL just tell them that you’re a gun owner. They seem to have no problem shutting off dealers websites. There were once rumors of gun related e-mails being lost. Lots of old stuff on the Keep and Bear Arms site. Here’s a sample and a link to the rest with details about the fired workers. Quote:
