| A wireless setup is not that much different than a wired setup. The only difference is obviously, no wires. Get a wireless router. And you'll need wireless cards for each computer. If you get a router with ports, you can set it up by one computer, and use the ethernet port on that pc, and get a wireless card for the other computer. Here are basically what you'll need. These links are from walmart, so you can get them from the store. But as always, it's cheaper to get them online. From ebay, or a site I like, http://www.pricewatch.com This router does have 4 ports, so you would only have to have one card for one computer. If you do like some people do, and place your router in your ceiling, you would need two cards, one for each computer. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=2470125 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=2470730 Also, if one of your computers happens to be a laptop, or have a pcmcia slot, you can get this setup to get both in one box. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=3592012 And in the event I'm talking to fast for you, or you don't know as much about networks as I assume you do, here's some networking basics from Linksys. http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satel...VisitorWrapper

| Good stuff DodgeHigh. I see the linksys.com has some stuff about security that I’d pay attention to. One of my biggest concerns about wireless would be drive-by hackers.

| Sitting here in my apartment now, I've got 2 signals within range that I can log onto and use thier internet. What you need to worry about as a user, besides someone using your internet connection, is that, for windows XP, you have to enable file sharing seperatly for your wired and wireless connections. This is good so that no one can log onto your router, and get your files. And, if you do have a wired computer into your wireless router, and don't have it secured, anyone that logs onto your router has access to what ever you've decided to share. And besides, setting up a secure connection, is as easy as clicking a few buttons, and pasting a key. It'd be rather dumb to not do, seeing as how easy it is.

| Just make sure you secure your network, don't leave it as an open connection. When you select secure during your initial network setup it will generate a random hexadecimal code that needs to be entered to allow access to your network, that way you can control who has access to your network.

| The onliest other thing to remember is to not trip over all those connections. Remember Penis v0n Lesbian?
