Rurallink had three different rates that are somewhat more attractive than the $49 month from United. But I don't want to go one way then have to switch to another. Are there any more of you all out there who have some experience with the wireless service in this area? Need some help!!!!!! |
As I stated before Signal7, I have had good luck with Rurallink. At first they had some bugs, but they have upgraded and seem to have worked it out. I was on the phone to them alot at first, but they always seemed to call me back or come out. I would question them as to the geographic access from your property. It is my understanding that you have to have a pretty open line/shot to the tower up on the bypass. There are times when the system gets bogged down, or weather affects it, but overall, it normally works pretty good. Since we have no cable or DSL out here in the boonies, it was really our only choice. Dial up was SSSSSSSSSSSLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!! And the Victory setup was a joke. Never worked like they said, and they couldn't figure out why. Plus it was expensive. Since I have never lived where I could get the other services, I really don't have anything to compare it to.
